Tiffany Joseph

Tiffany Joseph is an associate professor of sociology and international affairs at Northeastern University. After receiving her Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Michigan in 2011, she was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Scholar at Harvard University from 2011-13, and assistant professor of sociology at Stony Brook University from 2013-18. Her research explores the micro-level consequences of public policy on individuals, immigrants’ health and healthcare access, comparative frameworks of race and migration in the Americas, and the experiences of faculty of color and women in academia.
